About Our Mini Fall Season

Are you new to cheer?  Not sure if you'd like to commit to a full year?  Our new "Mini Season" may be perfect for you!  Our mini season consists of sideline cheering, two competitions and a pep rally.  If you decide to cheer full year, you will receive a $50 discount on our full year season.  

 

Fees

 

Registration - $125

This fee includes a jersey, tshirt, socks and competition fees.

Accessories

All cheerleaders will be required to purchase their own skorts.  New skorts are $25 and must be purchased through the club.  We also will have a consignment sale where you can shop before purchasing anything new.  

All cheerleaders are also required to own a Competition Bow, which are $20.  If you register by July 1, your child will receive their bow for FREE!  The only other requirements will be cheer shoes and makeup, which is determined by each squad.  


Music Fees

All competition music must now be licensed.  In order to offset the costs, we are now requiring cheerleaders to pay a one time music fee of $10 each year.

Time Commitment


Practice Schedules

Orientation is tentatively scheduled for July 29th.  Practices will start on the 30th.

Most squads will practice 2-3 nights per week.  

Practice schedules are determined by the coaching staff for each squad. 

Baby Bucs Jewels will only practice 2 nights for a maximum of 75-90 minutes. 

Practices will be held outdoors at the Bucs Field through the beginning of September when we start practicing inside at local schools.  The nights that your coaches choose are subject to change due to weather, school closings and/or permits. You will be notified by your team mom as soon as this happens. 


Football Games
 

Each squad is required to cheer for one football game a weekend.  Football games are typically played on Saturdays although there may be a few Friday evening or Sunday games. Games begin the first week of September and continue through mid November.

The game schedule is typically released towards the end of August and we will release that information as quickly as possible.

*Note - Cheerleaders are required to cheer for any teams advancing to the play-offs and/or championship.


Homecoming
 

Homecoming weekend is determined after the game schedule is released.  Most squads will be required to cheer two games during the weekend.  There will also be a special events during homecoming week where the children are encouraged to participate.

All competitions have entrance fees for spectators that range from $10-$20. The competition company determines this costs and schedules for the day.  Most of the time this information is unknown to us until the week before competition. 

 

 

About Our Full Year Competition Program


Athletes cheering Full Year Competition Program can opt out of the "Mini Season" portion.  All athletes must be registered by October 1st.  Practices for athletes who choose to opt out will start November 4th.   


Fees

 

Registration - $600

This fee includes a jersey, a Fall tshirt, socks, a Winter tshirt and all competition fees. 

Payment plans are available.  All players will also be given $300 in raffle tickets that they can sell throughout the season to offset their registration and travel expenses.


Uniform Fees

Each cheerleader is required to own their own uniform.  New uniforms can be purchased for $100 or you can shop from our consignment center for used uniforms at specific dates.  All payments are due by September 29.  Your child's uniform will be yours to keep and the fee is non refundable once paid.

Travel Expenses

We have two competitions that will require an overnight stay as they are two day competitions.  All travel fees and expenses are the parent's responsibility.   We will set up hotel blocks and encourage you to stay within those blocks, however, it is not required.

Hotel information will be announced throughout the season.

Time Commitment
