About Our Competitive Season

Our Comp Season is an extension of our regular season.  We welcome all athletes who cheered with us in the Fall to continue cheering into the competitive season with us.  

Uniform Fees -Included in Registration
Each cheerleader is required to own their own uniform.  The price of the new uniform included in the cost of registration this year.   The only other requirements will be "Nike Pro" style shorts, cheer shoes and makeup, which is determined by each squad.  

Fundraising
There are several fundraisers that we host throughout the year that you are expected to participate in.  These fundraisers directly go back to our program and allow us to keep costs as low as possible for our families.  If you choose not to participate, additional fees may be assessed.  

Travel Expenses
All travel fees and expenses are the parent's responsibility.   We will set up hotel blocks if possible and encourage you to stay within those blocks, however, it is not required.  Hotel information will be announced throughout the season as it becomes available.

Gym Rentals
As the competition season approaches, your coaches may request that the team practices on a full floor at a local gym.  While there are some team fees built into registration due to fundraising from prior seasons, you may be asked to help offset the cost of these rentals.  The additional out of pocket costs for gym rentals shouldn't exceed $100 per season and are primarily for our Pee Wee, Youth and Junior Teams.  

Extended Season
Should your team win a bid to attend The One or The Finale, your child will be invited to participate in an extended season.  While this isn't mandatory, we highly urge to do so.  The coaches will work to find a schedule that works for the kids who may be participating in Spring sports.  There will also be optional fundraising efforts for those attending those events. 

Time Commitment 

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Most squads will practice 2-3 nights per week.  

Practice schedules are determined by the coaching staff for each squad. 

Practices will be held outside on our field until we receive permits.  We will practice at local schools within the Northeast feeder system.  The nights that your coaches choose are subject to change due to weather, school closings and/or permits. You will be notified by your team mom as soon as this happens. 

EVALUATIONS
Evaluations are mandatory for any Full Year athletes who wishes to try out for a Level 2 or 3 team on Pee Wee,
Youth and Junior teams (Birth years 2011-2016).  Evaluations for younger participants is optional.  If they would like to be
considered for a higher level team, they may attend.  Participants must be registered in order to be evaluated.

About Our FALL ONLY Season

Our Fall Only season will focus on teaching the athletes the fundamentals of cheer and helping them learn more about the sport. 
Athletes will cheer weekly football games.  Their season will conclude with a performance at our Fall Pep Rally.
Depending on interest, there may be options during the season to convert your athlete to a full year team.  However, this is not guaranteed.

Fees

Registration - $125
 This fee includes a Season Shirt & Bow

Accessories
All cheerleaders will be required to purchase their own black "Nike Pro" like shorts, black cheer shoes and makeup. 

Fundraising
There will be an organization wide fundraiser sometime in August.  Details will be announced at orientation. 

Time Commitment

Parent orientation is scheduled for July 23rd.  Practices will start Monday, August 3rd.  

Practice Schedules

Most squads will practice 2-3 nights per week.  
Practice schedules are determined by the coaching staff for each squad. Practice nights will be posted once coaches and teams are decided in July. 
Our Sideline cheerleaders will practice twice a week for 60-90 minutes.
Practices will be held outdoors at the Bucs Field until we receive permits for schools.  We will then move inside to our local schools - Riviera Beach, Sunset, Solley, Highpoint and Northeast Middle. 

Football Games 
Football games are typically played on Saturdays although there may be a few Friday evening or Sunday games. Games begin the in late August and could continue through mid November, depending on whether our teams make the playoffs or not.  Expect to cheer a game each weekend.  The game schedule is typically released towards the end of August and we will release that information as quickly as possible.

Homecoming
Most squads will be required to cheer two games during the weekend.  There will also be a special events during homecoming week where the children are encouraged to participate and a celebration on the field Friday evening.
