2021/2022 SEASON INFORMATION

About Our FALL ONLY Season

 

Fees

 

Registration - $160

This fee includes a jersey, bow and competition fees.

Accessories

All cheerleaders will be required to purchase their own skorts.  New skorts are $25 and must be purchased through the club.  The only other requirements will be cheer shoes and makeup, which is determined by each squad.  


Music Fees

All competition music must now be licensed.  In order to offset the costs, we are now requiring cheerleaders to pay a one-time music fee of $10 each year.

Time Commitment


Practice Schedules

Parent orientation is scheduled for July 25. Practices will start July 26th.  

Most squads will practice 2-3 nights per week.  

Practice schedules are determined by the coaching staff for each squad. 

Baby Bucs Jewels will only practice 2 nights for a maximum of 60-75 minutes. 

Practices will be held outdoors at the Bucs Field.  The nights that your coaches choose are subject to change due to weather, school closings and/or permits or rental facility space. You will be notified by your team mom as soon as this happens. 


Football Games
 

Each squad is required to cheer for one football game a weekend.  Football games are typically played on Saturdays although there may be a few Friday evening or Sunday games. Games begin the first week of September and continue through mid November.

The game schedule is typically released towards the end of August and we will release that information as quickly as possible.

*Note - Cheerleaders are required to cheer for any teams advancing to the play-offs and/or championship.


Homecoming
 

Homecoming weekend is determined after the game schedule is released.  Most squads will be required to cheer two games during the weekend.  There will also be a special events during homecoming week where the children are encouraged to participate.

All competitions have entrance fees for spectators that range from $10-$20. The competition company determines this costs and schedules for the day.  Most of the time this information is unknown to us until the week before competition. 

 

 

About Our Fall/Winter Competitive Season



Fees

 

Registration - $650

This fee includes a Uniform, Competition Bow, Winter Tshirt, Jersey and all Competition fees. 

Payment plans are available.  

Uniform Fees

Each cheerleader is required to own their own uniform.  The price of the new uniform is built into registration since every athlete is required to purchase one.  Next year we will host a consignment sale.  If your child outgrows her uniform or graduates from our program, we will try to sell it at our consignment sale so you can recoop some of your money.  Your child's uniform will be yours to keep and the fee is non refundable once paid. 

The only other requirements will be cheer shoes and makeup, which is determined by each squad.  


Travel Expenses

We have one competition that will require an overnight stay as it is a two-day competitions.  All travel fees and expenses are the parent's responsibility.   We will set up hotel blocks and encourage you to stay within those blocks, however, it is not required.

Hotel information will be announced throughout the season.

December 17- JamFest (Show Place Arena- Upper Marlboro, MD)
January 15- Winter Battle (Wicomico Civic Center- Salisbury, MD)
January 22 - Rumble in the Jungle (UMBC Event Center - Baltimore, MD)
January 28 - Extreme Winter Open (Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster, PA)
February 19- MD Madness (Show Place Arena- Upper Marlboro, MD)
February 25 & 26- Reach the Beach (Ocean City, MD) - we will compete two days


All competitions have entrance fees for spectators that range from $20-$45. The competition company determines these costs.  More information for each competition can be found on the competition company's website.
